General Info:
The Boys & Girls Club of Brea-Placentia-Yorba Linda, Mabel Paine Unit, is an after school program dedicated on providing youth with a positive environment that will give members the tools to succeed in academics, develop meaningful relationships, and build character. We are located on the Mabel Paine Elementary school campus, in room # 41, 42 and 43.

  4. What forms of payment is received?
    Cash, check, or credit is accepted as a form of payment.
  5. Is tutoring provided?
    Yes, tutoring is provided here at our facility, through a Boys & Girls Club national program called Power Hour. Through this program, members are able to receive homework help from dedicated staff who make sure that homework is completed and done correctly everyday. During this time, the members will earn Power Points that will accumulate throughout the month and school year. At the end of each month, the top three members will receive a special prize.
  6. What other programs do you provide?
  7. Throughout the school year we provide many educational and character building programs. We implement national programs such as Imagemakers, a program dedicated to teaching our youth about photography, Torch Club, a program targeted towards 9 to 11 year olds that want to give back to their communities through volunteer work., Drama Club, a program targeted to the future actor and actresses of the world, at the end of the Spring semester a movie is put together for our annual Boys & Girls Club Film Showcase. These are just a few fun programs that we offer here at our facility.
  8. Is snack provided?
    Yes, snack is provided at 4:00 PM everyday during our announcements/snack time. However, members are more than welcome to bring their own snacks, which are kept in their backpacks till snack.
  9. Are electronic devices such as cell phones, Nintendo DSs or PSPs allowed at the Boys & Girls Club?
    Yes, but it is the members, not the Boys & Girls Club staff, responsibility to keep track of their own items. We recommend these items stay at home.
  10. What is the Pick Up policy?
    Parent or Guardian MUST come inside the facility and pick up the member.
