The school psychologist is an advocate for the students at Mabel Paine. The school psychologist is responsible for the evaluation of children with special needs, the identification of any child with a suspected disability, program planning for children with special needs, behavioral interventions and the oversight of special education compliance. School psychologists also provide crisis counseling for students in need and consultation to parents and teachers on childhood developmental issues as well as behavioral concerns.
